How To Mount VHD Image From Windows 7 or Greater Step-By-Step Without Any Third Party Tools–The Easy Way
1) Click Start – Right-Click Computer – Select Manage {Authorize the elevation if prompted}
2) Expand Storage – Select Disk Management – Right-Click Disk Management – Select Attach VHD
3) Browse to select the VHD – Click OK

Echeban, once you "mount" the disc, and wait about a minute, it will show up as a new disk in your Computer window and also in Disk Management. From that point on, you simply use is as you would use any other disk in your computer.Anonymous

Thanks. I needed to start Computer Management as Administrator for it to show the "Attach VHD" in the context menu. This can be done by opening the Administrative Tools menu, right click on Computer Management and then select "Run as administrator".Anonymous
