Opalis Operator Console as a Windows Service Video Tutorial!!

DISCLAIMER: The following information is for example purposes only. It is not official documentation on the best practice for getting the Operator Console installed as a Windows Service. This is meant to guide you in the right direction and point out some of the important aspects to get it up and running. The wrapper.conf here is an example of what I used to get everything working in my environment. Your experience may vary.

Does it run in an interactive CMD window under a specific user context who must remain logged in?

Would you prefer the Opalis Operator Console be installed as a Windows Service?

The following instructions and video will demonstrate what it takes to install the Opalis Operator Console as a Windows Service!

Available Tanuki wrapper.exe Commands:

TEST the wrapper.exe Service: --------------------------------------------------------------------- cd %JBOSS_HOME%\bin\ wrapper.exe -c %JBOSS_HOME%\server\default\wrapper\wrapper.conf

INSTALL the wrapper.exe Service: --------------------------------------------------------------------- cd %JBOSS_HOME%\bin\ wrapper.exe -i %JBOSS_HOME%\server\default\wrapper\wrapper.conf

UNINSTALL the wrapper.exe Service: --------------------------------------------------------------------- cd %JBOSS_HOME%\bin\ wrapper.exe -r %JBOSS_HOME%\server\default\wrapper\wrapper.conf

    Thanks for this run-through Charles, I dreaded the idea of having a cmd window open to run the Operator Console! Oh and I like your technical term for the content of the Java wrapper config file being 'stuff', that's how I feel about it myself :P
