Simulated Robotics Services Overview
Simulated Robotic Services consist of a combination of an entity (or entities) and a DSS service that interacts with the entity. Therefore these services appear to an application as though they are real-world devices. Other services should not need to know about the simulation entity and should not interact with it directly.
Available simulated robotics services include:
- Bumper (Contact Sensor)
- Differential Drive
- Kinect Sensor
- KUKA LBR3 Articulated Arm
- SICK Laser Range Finder
- Web Camera
Various different robots are also available in the simulator:
- LEGO NXT
- iRobot Create
- Mobile Robots Pioneer 3DX
- Reference Platform
The simulated robots use various simulated robotic services, and in particular the Simulated Differential Drive.
