Mantener la base de datos de Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) manual o automática

El mantenimiento rutinario de la base de datos WSUS (SUSDB) es importante para garantizar el estado y el rendimiento óptimo de la aplicación. En este artículo se describen los pasos y scripts concisos para mantener SUSDB manual o automáticamente.

¿Cuánto tarda el mantenimiento?

La duración del mantenimiento puede variar en función de los recursos de la máquina, incluida la CPU, la memoria y la capacidad del disco. Los factores que afectan a la duración del mantenimiento incluyen el tiempo transcurrido desde el último mantenimiento, el número de productos y clasificaciones seleccionados y el volumen de actualizaciones que deben limpiarse.

En un entorno pequeño, con productos y clasificaciones mínimos y mantenimiento reciente en SUSDB, los scripts automáticos con la RA opción pueden tardar menos de un minuto en ejecutarse. Sin embargo, en algunos casos, puede tardar varios días en completarse. Si tarda más de lo esperado y no puede completar el mantenimiento correctamente, debe crear una nueva SUSDB.

Consulta para obtener el recuento de actualizaciones

Un número excesivo de actualizaciones reemplazadas, rechazadas y obsoletas a menudo provocan un mal estado de SUSDB. Para obtener el recuento de actualizaciones, ejecute la siguiente consulta SQL. Si los recuentos de las tres últimas columnas del resultado de la consulta superan varios cientos, se debe realizar el mantenimiento.

Mantener manualmente la base de datos WSUS (SUSDB)

Importante

  • Ejecute los pasos de cada servidor WSUS en la jerarquía. Al realizar una limpieza y quitar elementos de los servidores WSUS, comience en el nivel más bajo de la jerarquía.
  • Asegúrese de que las sincronizaciones programadas están deshabilitadas, ya sea en Configuration Manager (si se usa) o en servidores WSUS independientes.

Los pasos siguientes pueden resolver muchos problemas con el examen y la sincronización. Si hay un gran número de actualizaciones rechazadas, es posible que tenga que repetir los pasos del 9 al 12 varias veces. Después de cada ejecución, ejecute la consulta SQL para confirmar que el recuento de actualizaciones está disminuyendo. Los pasos 8 y 9 pueden dar lugar a errores cada vez, lo que se espera. Por lo tanto, debe repetir los pasos del 9 al 12 varias veces. Algunos pasos (especialmente el paso 9) pueden tardar varias horas en completarse.

  1. Ejecute el script SQL descrito en Rendimiento lento del procedimiento spDeleteUpdate.

  2. Reduzca los archivos SUSDB.

  3. Reduzca la base de datos SUSDB.

  4. Vuelva a indexar y actualizar estadísticas en SUSDB.

    1. Para volver a indexar SUSDB, ejecute el siguiente script SQL:

    Nota:

    Nota:

    • El valor de 30 en la primera línea indica el número de días entre hoy y la fecha de lanzamiento, durante la cual las actualizaciones reemplazadas no deben marcarse como rechazadas.
    • En Configuration Manager, este valor debe alinearse con las reglas de sustitución configuradas en las propiedades del componente de punto de actualización de software (SUP).
    • En los servidores WSUS independientes, especifique el número de días que desea conservar las actualizaciones reemplazadas. Por ejemplo, establezca el valor 60 en en lugar de 30 mantener dos meses de actualizaciones reemplazadas. Las actualizaciones anteriores a este período se marcarán como rechazadas y, posteriormente, se limpiarán.

Mantener automáticamente la base de datos WSUS (SUSDB)

El siguiente script de PowerShell replica los pasos manuales. Cuando se ejecuta el script, se creará y abrirá un archivo SUSDB-Maintenance.log .
