Customize the Notification Area Shortcut Menu
Applies To: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012
On the Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows 2000 operating systems an icon appears in the notification area of the taskbar when the user is connected to your service. A shortcut menu appears when the user right-clicks this notification area icon. This menu provides users with a shortcut to specific programs. The default commands on the menu are Status, Disconnect, and Open Network Connections. You can use the CMAK wizard to customize this shortcut menu by specifying which, if any, additional commands appear on the menu.
Note
This icon is only available on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows 2000. Because of this, this wizard page only appears when you create a profile that uses the Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000 option on the Select the Target Operating System.
