Query dialog box

Use the Query dialog box to compose a query, and then execute it. To display the Query dialog box, click Query on the Windows Management Instrumentation Tester dialog box.

In the Enter Query text box, type the WBEMTest query .

In the Query Type list box, you can select a query language. Currently, only Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Query Language (WQL) is supported.

You can use the Retrieve class prototype check box to indicate that you do not want instances from this query, and then to the class that the instances might belong to if returned.

For more information, see Querying WMI.
