NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol (NWLink) is an implementation of Novell's Internetwork Packet Exchange/Sequenced Packet Exchange (IPX/SPX) and NetBIOS protocols. Windows clients can use NWLink to access client and server applications running on Novell NetWare servers. NetWare clients can use NWLink to access client and server applications running on Windows servers. With NWLink, computers running Windows can communicate with other network devices, such as printers, that use IPX/SPX. You can also use NWLink in small networks that only use Windows and other Microsoft client software.
