To modify burst handling properties
Open WINS.
In the console tree, click the applicable WINS server.
Where?
- WINS/applicable WINS server
On the Action menu, click Properties.
Click the Advanced tab.
In Enable burst handling, modify default settings as needed.
To view a description of a dialog box item, right-click the item, and then click What's This?
Notes
To open WINS, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click WINS.
By default, burst handling is enabled and the burst queue sized to Medium.
