Where?
- Computer Management/Services and Applications/Message Queuing
Point to All Tasks, and do one of the following:
To take Message Queuing offline from the network, click Take Message Queuing Offline.
To bring Message Queuing back online, click Bring Message Queuing Online.
When prompted, click Yes.
Notes
To open Computer Management, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.
When you take Message Queuing offline from the network, you pause the operation of all outgoing queues on the local computer. This is useful when you communicate over a slow, expensive connection and want to defer sending messages in all outgoing queues on the computer to a later time.
You can also pause the operation of a single outgoing queue. For more information, see Related Topics.
This task can be performed only by using the Computer Management snap-in.
