<Application_Installation_Package_Name> - Issues

The Issues tab of the <Application_Installation_Package_Name> dialog box enables you to view the following information for each of the known application installation package issues:

  • The provider and the subprovider of the issue

  • The severity of the issue, as entered by the provider and the subprovider

  • The issue title, as entered by the provider and the subprovider

  • The symptom, as entered by the provider and the subprovider

  • The date the issue was added to the ACT database

To access the Issues tab of the <Application_Installation_Package_Name> dialog box

  1. Click Analyze from the Quick Reports pane.

  2. Click Application Installation Packages from the appropriate operating system heading in the Quick Reports pane. For example, click Application Installation Packages from underneath the Windows 7 Reports heading.

    The <Operating_System> Application Installation Packages report appears.

  3. Double-click the name of an application installation package for which you want to see the associated details.

    The <Application_Installation_Package_Name> dialog box appears, with the Issues tab showing.

Using the Issues Tab

On the Issues tab of the <Application_Installation_Package_Name> dialog box, you can perform the following actions:

  • Review the issue details information, including the provider and the subprovider of the issue, the severity of the issue, the issue title, the symptom, and the date that the provider added the issue to the database.

  • Select your assessment for the issue. For more information, see Selecting Your Assessment Rating.

  • Select your deployment status for the issue. For more information, see Selecting Your Deployment Status.

  • Categorize the issue. For more information, see Categorizing Your Data.

  • Prioritize the issue. For more information, see Prioritizing Your Data.
