IActiveIMMApp::AssociateContextEx method

Changes the association between the input method context and the specified window or its child windows.

Syntax

HRESULT AssociateContextEx(
  [in] HWND  hWnd,
  [in] HIMC  hIMC,
  [in] DWORD dwFlags
);

Parameters

  • hWnd [in]
    A handle to the window to associate with the input context.

  • hIMC [in]
    A handle to the input method context.

  • dwFlags [in]
    An unsigned long integer value that contains the type of association between the window and the input method context.

Return value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

This method is only available for Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. This method maps to the ImmAssociateContextEx function that is documented in the Windows Software Development Kit (SDK).
