In Windows Embedded Compact, you can implement functionality for wireless Internet on a Windows Embedded Compact powered device.

Hardware and Software Requirements
- Requires RIL Proxy (SYSGEN_CELLCORE_RIL). For more information, see Cellular Radio (CellCore) Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
- Requires SIM Manager (SYSGEN_CELLCORE_SIM). For more information, see SIM Manager Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
- Requires SMS (SYSGEN_CELLCORE_SMS). For more information, see Short Message Service (SMS) Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
- Requires a connection to a wireless network such as GSM, CDMA, or GPRS.
