Build Process Customization (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

While you can specify custom build rules to use with an OS design, you can also specify conditionals and custom build steps for a project.

Custom build rules run at different times, depending on your specifications for the custom build rules.

The following list displays ways that you can customize the build process for a project in your OS design:

  • Use the Project Settings dialog box to enter conditionals for a project.
  • Use sources files for a project to specify custom pre-link and post-link steps.
  • Modify the sources file for a project to selectively build code in a project based on the name of the workspace containing the project.
