Message Queuing Properties

Message Queuing provides a set of queue, message, queue manager, private computer, and queue and computer administration properties. These properties are specified in their associated property structure, which in turn is specified as an In parameter for several different API function calls.

Message Queuing properties include the following.

Property type	Description
Queue Properties	Define the behavior of a queue.
Message Properties	Define the data in the message and how Message Queuing handles the message.
Private Computer Properties	Read-only properties used to monitor the local computer.
Queue Manager Properties	Read-only properties for monitoring the queue manager running on the local computer.
Management Properties	Read-only properties for monitoring the Message Queuing installation and the queues on a computer.
