Cache
A cache is memory on a local computer used for storing digital content. You can cache content at the edge of a network to minimize the bandwidth required by the origin server and the latency experienced by the client. If a stream is stored locally, the client does not need to connect to the origin server. Instead, it can connect to the cache server, which is closer.
