IWMPSettings::put_playCount method (wmp.h)
[The feature associated with this page, Windows Media Player SDK, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer. MediaPlayer has been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The put_playCount method specifies the number of times a media item will play.
Syntax
HRESULT put_playCount(
[in] long lCount
);
Parameters
[in] lCount
long containing the count with a minimum value of 1 and a default value of 1.
Return value
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Remarks
Windows Media Player 10 Mobile: This method is not implemented and always returns E_NOTIMPL.
