Installing PlayReady Client SDK for Windows Store Apps

Once you have downloaded the PlayReady Client SDK for Windows Store Apps .vsix file, you need to add the extension to Visual Studio.

To add the PlayReady extension to Visual Studio

  1. Locate the PlayReady Client SDK for Windows Store Apps .vsix file for Windows 8.1 you downloaded earlier and double-click it.
  2. Once the extension is added, start Visual Studio.

When you start a new project, you will need to add a reference to the PlayReady Client SDK for Windows Store Apps. This procedure is described in the example sections of this documentation.
