Embedded Licenses

Embedded licenses, working hand-in-hand with the concept of PlayReady domains, were created to improve various end-user scenarios such as transferring content between devices and content backup. For example, if a personal computer and portable device belong to the same domain, content can be dragged and dropped between them like with non-protected files. If a user wants to back up their content, they can simply burn it to a disk. If the original machine fails, all they need to do is join a new machine to the domain and all of the content will play.
