ToolLocationHelper.GetPathToDotNetFrameworkSdkFile Method (String, TargetDotNetFrameworkVersion, VisualStudioVersion, DotNetFrameworkArchitecture)

Get a fully qualified path to a file in the .NET Framework SDK. Error if the .NET Framework SDK can't be found.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework.You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

  File name to locate in the .NET Framework SDK directory

• version
  Type: Microsoft.Build.Utilities.TargetDotNetFrameworkVersion

  Version of the targeted .NET Framework

• visualStudioVersion
  Type: Microsoft.Build.Utilities.VisualStudioVersion

  Version of Visual Studio associated with the requested SDK.

• architecture
  Type: Microsoft.Build.Utilities.DotNetFrameworkArchitecture

  The required architecture of the requested file.

Return Value

Type: System.String
Path string.
