List.nth<'T> Function (F#)

Indexes into the list. The first element has index 0.

Parameters

  • list
    Type: 'Tlist

    The input list.

  • index
    Type: int

    The index to retrieve.

The value at the given index.

Thrown if the index is outside the length of the list.

Remarks

This function is named Get in compiled assemblies. If you are accessing the function from a language other than F#, or through reflection, use this name.

Example

The following code shows how to use List.nth.

let list1 = [ -10 .. 10 ]
List.nth list1 5
|> printfn "The fifth element: %d"

Output

The fifth element: -5
