Remarks
One of the fundamental design goals of DDEX is for each major feature area of extensibility to be controlled through data support XML supplied by the DDEX provider. For each such feature area, there is a class - for example, DataViewSupport or DataObjectSupport - that provides a way to supply a stream of XML for the feature.
There are a few standard places from which this stream of XML may come. It may be read from a managed resource compiled into an assembly, or from a file on disk. This base class implements methods that will automatically locate either, depending on which constructor is called.
Thread Safety
Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
