IVsDebugger2.GetEngineName Method

Given the GUID of a debugging engine, returns the name of the engine. Use this method with EnumDebugEngines to retrieve the names of all active debugging engines.

Parameters

  • guidEngine
    Type: System.Guid%
    [in] The GUID of the debugging engine.
  • pbstrName
    Type: System.String%
    [out] A string containing the name of the debugging engine.

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.
