Choose Documents Redirection Folder Dialog Box

Use the Choose Documents Redirection Folder dialog box to specify a shared folder to redirect users' Documents folders. By default, Windows EBS uses the UserMyDocs folder on the Management Server for the Documents folder redirection.

Important

If you do not use the default target folder, you must configure a shared folder with security-enhanced permissions. For more information about configuring this folder, see the Microsoft Web site (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=108928).

Target folder

Type a UNC path to a shared folder with security-enhanced permissions that will be used to redirect users' Documents folders. (Or click Browse to locate a folder.)

Note

You have the option to redirect each user's Documents folder to the target folder or leave the user's Documents on the client computer. If you enable redirection, the Documents folder is redirected to the <User Name>\Documents folder in the target folder.
