Rename an Application
This procedure describes how to rename an application. An application is a collection of resources that are synchronized and/or deployed together.
To rename an application
In the Application Center snap-in, expand the cluster node.
Click Applications to open the Applications view.
In the Applications view, click the application to rename, and then on the toolbar, click Rename.
In the Rename the selected application dialog box, type the new name.

Note Application Center uses a globally unique identifier (GUID) to identify applications and allows the use of non-unique names. However, using unique application names reduces confusion.
