Delete an Application

This procedure describes how to delete an application from a cluster. An application is a collection of resources that are synchronized and/or deployed together.

To delete an application

1. In the Application Center snap-in, expand the cluster node.

2. Click Applications.

3. In the Applications view, click the application to delete, and then on the toolbar, click Delete.

    Note   When applications are deleted on the cluster controller, they will be deleted on all members in the synchronization loop.

 Note   Deleting an Application Center application does not delete the resources that have been added to the application, it merely deletes the grouping made by Application Center. To delete the resource, you must manually delete it from the server's hard disk.
