Filter by Product

Use this procedure to view events by the product that generated the event: Windows 2000, Application Center, or Health Monitor.

 Note   These settings do not affect how events are logged, only how they are displayed in the Events view.

To view events by log type

1. In the Application Center snap-in, expand the cluster node or cluster member node, and then click Events.

2. In the Events view, in the Product box, click the appropriate event log from which to view events.

3. To update the Events view by using the new criteria, click Filter.

 Note   Product refers to the event log from which the events are taken. The logs are Windows events, Application Center events, and Health Monitor data collectors.
