SortOrder Property

Esta característica se quitará en una versión futura de Microsoft SQL Server. Evite utilizar esta característica en nuevos trabajos de desarrollo y tenga previsto modificar las aplicaciones que actualmente la utilizan.

The SortOrder property returns a string describing the character set used and ordering applied for an instance of Microsoft SQL Server.

Sintaxis

object.SortOrder

Parts

  • object
    An expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list

Data Type

String

Modifiable

Read-only

Prototype (C/C++)

HRESULT GetSortOrder(SQLDMO_LPBSTR pRetVal);

[!NOTA]

SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference using SysFreeString.

Notas

Character set and ordering compatibility between instances of SQL Server can positively affect operations affecting more than one server. For example, distributed query is optimized when two instances are compatible in character set and order. Character set and order are established at installation.
