Microsoft SQL Server cursor scope can be local, meaning visible only within the scope of a batch, or global, meaning visible to any process within the scope of the session.
If TRUE, cursors declared in a batch are created with local scope.
If FALSE, cursors declared in a batch are created with global scope.
For more information, see DECLARE CURSOR (Transact-SQL).
