RowReadyEventHandler Delegate

NOTE: This API is now obsolete.

Represents the method that will handle the RowReady event fired by a Web Part that implements the IRowProvider interface.

Namespace:  Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPartPages.Communication
Assembly:  Microsoft.SharePoint (in Microsoft.SharePoint.dll)

Syntax

<ObsoleteAttribute("Use System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts.IWebPartRow instead")> _
Public Delegate Sub RowReadyEventHandler ( _
    sender As Object, _
    e As RowReadyEventArgs _
)

Dim instance As New RowReadyEventHandler(AddressOf HandlerMethod)
[ObsoleteAttribute("Use System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts.IWebPartRow instead")]
public delegate void RowReadyEventHandler(
    Object sender,
    RowReadyEventArgs e
)

Parameters

  • sender
    Type: System.Object
    The source of the event, the Web Part.

Remarks

When you create a RowReadyEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate.

Examples

The following code example shows the declaration of an event of type RowReadyEventHandler from a Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPartPages.WebPart that implements the IRowProvider interface. A code sample that shows the implementation of the event handler is in the RowReady event topic. A code sample that shows the full implementation of the IRowProvider interface is in the IRowProvider topic.

' Step #3: Declare the IRowProvider events.
' Because this class implements the IRowProvider interface, it must
' declare the interface members RowProviderInit and RowReady.

Public Event RowProviderInit As RowProviderInitEventHandler Implements IRowProvider.RowProviderInit
Public Event RowReady As RowReadyEventHandler Implements IRowProvider.RowReady
// Step #3: Declare the IRowProvider events.
// Because this class implements the IRowProvider interface, it must
// declare the interface members RowProviderInit and RowReady.

public event RowProviderInitEventHandler RowProviderInit;
public event RowReadyEventHandler RowReady;
