InkEdit.OnStroke Method

InkEdit.OnStroke Method

Allows derived classes to modify the default behavior of the Stroke event.

Definition

Visual Basic .NET Overridable Protected Sub OnStroke( _
ByVal e As InkEditStrokeEventArgs _
)
C# protected virtual void OnStroke(
InkEditStrokeEventArgs e
);
Managed C++ protected: virtual void OnStroke(
InkEditStrokeEventArgs *e
);

Parameters

e Microsoft.Ink.InkEditStrokeEventArgs. The InkEditStrokeEventArgs object that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate.

The OnStroke method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

When overriding this method in a derived class, call the OnStroke method of the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
