InkEdit.OnRecognition Method

InkEdit.OnRecognition Method

Allows derived classes to modify the default behavior of the Recognition event.

Definition

Visual Basic .NET Overridable Protected Sub OnRecognition( _
ByVal e As InkEditRecognitionEventArgs _
)
C# protected virtual void OnRecognition(
InkEditRecognitionEventArgs e
);
Managed C++ protected: virtual void OnRecognition(
InkEditRecognitionEventArgs *e
);

Parameters

e Microsoft.Ink.InkEditRecognitionEventArgs. The InkEditRecognitionEventArgs object that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate.

The OnRecognition method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

When overriding this method in a derived class, call the OnRecognition method of the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
