The FIM Reporting service is a new feature for FIM 2010 R2 and provides a way for you to audit historical changes to FIM resources and publish customized reports. FIM Reporting provides these features in FIM 2010 R2:
Seven out-of-box reports
Custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Support for custom FIM resources and attributes
Integration with the System Center Service Manager (SCSM) Data Warehouse component.
