traceProviderDefinitions Element for tracing [IIS Settings Schema]

Defines the trace providers that are available for use on the Web server.

Syntax

The following sections describe attributes, child elements, and parent elements for this section.

Element	Description
add	Optional element. Adds a trace provider to the collection of trace providers.
remove	Optional element. Removes a reference to a trace provider from the trace provider collection.
clear	Optional element. Removes all references to trace providers from the trace provider collection.

Element	Description
configuration	Specifies the root element in every configuration file that is used by IIS 7.
system.webServer	Specifies the top-level section group (in ApplicationHost.config) in which this element is defined.
tracing	Configures request trace settings.
