Tax Area Code Field, Location Table

Here you can specify the tax area code for this location. To see the available tax area codes, click the field.

When you post purchase transactions, the program uses this Tax Area code when a location code has been entered. If no location code has been entered, the Tax Area Code from Company Information is the default.

The Tax Area code is used in combination with a Tax Group code and the Tax Liable field to find the necessary information for calculating sales tax.
