Due Date Field, Warehouse Activity Line Table
Specifies the date by which the warehouse activity must be completed.
The date is copied from the source document as follows:
For a sales order line, the date is copied from the Planned Shipment Date field.
For a transfer order line, the date is copied from the Shipment Date field for outbound transfers or from the Receipt Date field for inbound transfers.
For a purchase order line, the date is copied from the Expected Receipt Date field.
For production order component lines, the date is copied from the Due Date field.
For assembly order lines, the date is copied from the Due Date field.
For a service line, the date is copied from the Needed by Date field.
The due date of outbound warehouse activities is calculated as follows:
due date = shipment date – outbound warehouse handling time
The due date is used to calculate the planned shipment date as follows:
planned shipment date = shipment date + outbound warehouse handling time + due date
