Resource Usage Type Field, Assembly Line Table

Specifies how the cost of the resource on the assembly order line is allocated to the assembly item. The value is copied from the Resource Usage Type field on the assembly BOM line, but you can change it on the assembly order line.

Options

Field	Description
Direct	The cost of the resource is allocated per unit that is assembled. The Quantity field on the assembly order line is filled according to the unit of measure, as for component items.
Fixed	The cost of the resource is allocated as a fixed amount regardless of the quantity of items that are assembled. The Quantity field on the assembly order line is filled with the value in the Quantity per field. Note You can divide the value with the lot size of the assembly item to get the true unit cost of the assembly order line.
