Currency Factor Field, Service Header Table
Specifies a currency factor if an additional reporting currency was set in the General Ledger Setup window. The currency factor shows the relationship between the additional reporting currency and the local currency. The program will automatically record amounts in both LCY and the additional reporting currency, using the relevant exchange rate and the currency factor.
The program validates the currency factor against the exchange rate for the additional reporting currency as of the posting date. If you have not set up any additional reporting currency, the value in the field will equal 1.
