Gen. Bus. Posting Group Field, Item Journal Line Table
Specifies the code of the general business posting group that will be used when you post the entry on the item journal line. To see the general business posting group codes that are available, choose the field.
The program uses the general business posting group code together with the Gen. Prod. Posting Group code in the General Posting Setup table. Here the combination of the two codes specifies which G/L accounts the program will use for COGS and inventory adjustments for the item on this journal line.
