Inventory Event Buffer Table

Acts as a temporary container for the various demand and supply events that make up the inventory profile, which is then used to calculate how the resulting projected inventory will vary over time.

This table is used internally.

Additional Information

Each event that can increase or decrease the inventory level at a given point of time can be regarded as an inventory vector that can be used to draw up a graphical inventory profile.

The Inventory Event Buffer table is filled on request from the various sources of demand and supply such as when calculating a supply plan or when calculating an available-to-promise date. The Inventory Event Buffer table is like the Inventory Profile table. For more information, see Design Details: Loading the Inventory Profiles.
