Production Forecast Name Table
Specifies basic information, such as name and description, that defines the various production forecasts that you maintain and use in your planning. You enter this information in the Production Forecast Names window. In the Current Production Forecast field, click the field.
Additionally, only one forecast is valid when you calculate a plan. You select the valid forecast in the Current Production Forecast field. This allows you to prepare a forecast for a future time period without it interfering with your current planning process, for example.
