Type Field, Inventory Report Entry Table
Indicates whether the inventory report entry refers to an item or a general ledger account. If the type is Item, it means that the inventory report entry is a summary of value entries for a particular item. If the type is G/L Account, it means that the inventory report entry is a summary of general ledger entries for a particular account type.
The type of entries that you see is determined by the field that you access this table from. For instance, if, in the Inventory - G/L Reconciliation window, you choose an inventory-related field, the Inventory Report Entry window contains entries of type Item. If you drill down on a G/L-related field, the Inventory Report Entry window contains entries of type G/L Account.
