Unit Cost Field, Work Center Table
Specifies the unit cost at one unit of measure for the machine center. The unit of measure is defined in the assigned work center.
Unit costs differ from direct unit costs in that the indirect costs have already been included in the unit cost calculation. The program calculates the unit cost with the following formula:
Unit Cost = Direct Unit Cost + (Direct Unit Cost * Indirect Cost %) + Overhead Rate.
The basis of the unit cost calculation is the usage quantity per time interval set in the Unit of Measure Code field or per unit depending on the entry in the Unit Cost Calculation field.
