Company No. Field, Contact Table

Specifies the number of the contact company.

What this field contains depends on the contents of the Type field:

If you have selected the option Person in the Type field, this field contains the contact number of the company for which the contact works.
If you have selected the option Company in the Type field, this field contains the number of the contact.

When you create a new company (by selecting the option Company in the Type field), the program copies the contact number to this field.

When you create a new person (by selecting the option Person in the Type field), you can manually enter a company number in this field.
