How to: Create New Lines and New Cards
Microsoft Dynamics NAV lets you work with windows in three different modes: view, edit, and new. The mode appears in the window caption, before the window name. For example, View - Customer Card - 10000 The Cannon Group PLC.
This topic describes how to create a new line in a window, and how to open a window in New mode.
To create a new line in a list or document
- If the window contains a New button in the ribbon, choose New. Otherwise, choose Actions, and then choose New.
To create a new card or document
Open the list of cards or documents, or open an existing card or document.
If the window contains a New button in the ribbon, choose New. Otherwise, choose Actions, and then choose New.
