Security, Database, and Other Administration
Some of the administration tasks for Microsoft Dynamics NAV cannot be performed in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Windows client and must be performed in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment, the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server Administration tool, or the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 Administration Shell.
The following administration tasks cannot be managed in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Windows client:
Licenses
Database administration
Creation and management of Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server instances.
