Specifies all the requests to the warehouse about shipments and receipts.
This table includes information about the type of document that the warehouse request concerns, for example, a sales order, a purchase order, a return order, or a transfer. It also includes the order status, location, and shipping details. The information is copied from the header of the source document.
The entries in this table are created when source documents are released. If the source document is reopened and then released again, the warehouse request is updated, but the related warehouse activity documents are not updated.
Note
Separate warehouse requests are created for each location that appears on the lines of a source document. For example, if a sales order has a list of items to be delivered from two different locations, such as warehouses or distribution centers, two warehouse requests are made when the order is released.
