(EEUR) Permission changes log (report)

Generate and print a report that displays changes to an employee’s permissions to access information, security rights, or user role in Microsoft Dynamics AX. You can select to view the permission changes as an overall list for the employee, or as a breakdown of tables and fields.

How to filter the data on this report

When you generate this report, the following default parameters are displayed. You can use these parameters to filter the data that will be displayed on the report. For more information, see Filter the data on a report.

Field

Description

Permission changes view

Select whether to view permission changes as an overall list or by tables and fields.

User ID

Select the identifier of the employee about whom the report is being generated.

From date

Select the start date for the employee changes to include on the report.

To date

Select the last date to include any changes on the report.

Security rights change log and User role change log

Click Select to create a query to view any changes to the employee’s security rights or user role within the specified time frame.

  • EeUserRoleChangeLog

  • SecurityRole

If you are a developer, you can learn more about where the data on a report comes from by using the following procedure.

  1. Open the AOT.

  2. Locate the report in the SSRS Reports\Reports node.

  3. Right-click the report and click Add-Ins > Cross-reference > Using (instant view).
