(CHN) Set up the hierarchy structure for the main account
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Companies in China create and maintain a chart of accounts in a hierarchical tree structure by setting up multiple levels for ledger accounts. You can create account numbers by using a format that indicates the number of levels in the ledger account. For example, to split a ledger account into two levels, you can use the account number format xxxx-yy. Here, the first four characters denote the first level, such as a cash account, and the last two characters denote the second level, such as a cash account in a different currency.
Click General ledger > Setup > Chart of accounts > Chart of accounts.
Select an existing chart of accounts, or create a new chart of accounts. For more information, see Configurar un plan contable.
Click Hierarchy setup to open the China main account hierarchy form.
