HcmPositionHierarchy::findByPosition Method
Finds the specified record in the HcmPositionHierarchy table.

- _position
Type: HcmPositionRecId Extended Data Type
The value of the Position field of the record to find.
- _validFrom
Type: utcdatetime
The value in the ValidFrom field.
- _validTo
Type: utcdatetime
The value in the ValidTo field.
- _forUpdate
Type: boolean
A Boolean value that indicates whether to read the record for update; optional.
- _concurrencyModel
Type: ConcurrencyModel Enumeration
The concurrency model option to use when reading the record; optional.
Return Value
Type: HcmPositionHierarchy Table
One or more records in the HcmPositionHierarchy table; otherwise, an empty buffer.
Remarks
Values for the _validFrom and _validTo fields limit the table selection in the following way.
If no values are supplied for both the parameters, they use now. Therefore, the method searches for only active records and returns either an empty or a valid record.
If only the first parameter value is supplied, the second parameter uses the first parameter.
The method searches for active records as of the specified datetime value and returns either an empty or a valid record.
If both parameters are supplied with values, the method searches for records with values in the validFrom and ValidTo fields fall in that interval. The method may return multiple records.
