The > operator is a binary operator that tests the relationship between two operands.

Operator Description

The > operator is predefined for the Number, Character, Text, Date, DateTime, Time, and Collection types, as well as all their subtypes. For Number, Character, Text, Date, DateTime, and Time types, the > operator returns true if the left operand is greater than the right operand. Otherwise, it returns false.

For collections, the > operator returns true if the left operand is a strict superset of the right operand. Otherwise, it returns false.
